Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial pipefitting experience, preferably in heavy industrial or petrochemical environments.
• Experience with various piping materials and joining techniques, including welding, flanging, threading, and grooved connections.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and industrial safety practices.
• Experience with VRF systems and related piping processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and specifications to determine piping layout and work procedures.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using hand tools, machines, and welding equipment.
• Install, modify, and repair piping systems including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy, and non-metallic piping.
• Select materials, supports, and jointing methods per project specs and conditions.
• Coordinate installation with other trades and inspect completed piping systems.
• Follow safety policies, use PPE, and conduct pressure/ leak testing as required.
• Document work, material usage, and deviations from plan; load and transport materials and tools.
• Secure pipe to structures and assemble fittings with appropriate joints and tools.
