Responsibilities

This position involves installing refrigeration systems according to customer specs, codes, and piping best practices. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting construction by piping cooler boxes and refrigeration cases, including electrical wiring.
• Installing pipe hangers as directed by the foreman.
• Welding and slip-hosing copper pipes, assisting on projects.
• Supporting installation of supermarket refrigeration systems and remodeling existing systems.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with trade or technical school classes preferred.
• 5+ years of construction experience, with hands-on refrigeration, electrical, or fixtures work preferred.
• EPA Certification (Type II).
• Experience in copper brazing and remodeling.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, refrigeration, plumbing, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to hang coils, install hangers, use tools, and ensure safety compliance.
• Ability to work independently.
