Job summary

Loenbro is hiring experienced pipefitters for on-site construction projects in Rock Springs, WY. The Journeyman will plan and install piping systems, weld components, and ensure safe operation of steam, water, and chemicals within expected regulations.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, configuring layouts, and assembling piping with welding or other methods. Candidates should have 3+ years of pipefitting experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant licenses; OSHA 10

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pipefitting experience or completion of a pipefitter apprenticeship.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/trade apprenticeship preferred.
• Must meet state license requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and install piping systems for construction projects/sites.
• Weld and join piping systems and install safety valves (manual and electric).
• Configure pipe layouts from blueprints and plans.
• Turn off steam, water, chemicals before work; maintain clean work areas.
• Thread, weld, and fit piping components securely.

Job Summary We are seeking experienced, skilled pipefitters to join our growing team. In this position you will be responsible for planning and installing all piping systems for our construction project/sites as assigned. You should have ample experience in welding, joining, and installing a variety of piping systems, as well as installing manual and electric safety valves.
Essential Job Responsibilities

• Configure pipe systems blueprint and plan piping systems layouts.
• Ensure all steam, water, chemicals, or other liquids are turned off before working on the piping system.
• Precisely cut, bend, and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel.
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials from pipes as needed.
• Install piping or tubing segments securely with welding or other equipment.
• Thread, weld, solder piping together.

Required
Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as a pipefitter or pipefitter apprenticeship preferred.
• High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeship required.
• Must meet all state license requirements.

Preferred

• Accurate and precise attention to detail.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations regarding piping systems.
• OSHA 10

• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
