Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking skilled workers to lay out, assemble, install, or maintain piping and related hydraulic equipment according to plans and standard codes. The role requires reading isometrics, fabricating components, and securing systems for welding and testing.

Expect intermediate experience, site-based work on construction projects, and adherence to safety rules while performing pipe and equipment installations and hydro testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior piping field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans/specifications and follow instructions.
• Strong manual dexterity with hand and power tools; safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and equipment by welding and threading joints.
• Position materials during installation and verify plans/specifications.
• Identify material thickness and type of metals.
• Rig and handle equipment safely and effectively.
• Operate heating and cutting tools and power equipment.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
