Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking skilled pipefitters to layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic equipment on industrial sites. The role emphasizes reading isometrics, welding and threading joints, and testing piping systems.

Candidates should be comfortable working on construction sites with varied weather and long hours. As a member of our on-site team, you will use hand tools and power tools, adapt to different tasks, and ensure safety and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand/power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, and fittings by welding and threading joints.
• Position materials during installation and follow plans/specifications.
• Identify material thickness and types of metal.
• Manually handle and rig equipment as needed.
• Operate beveling machines, grinders, torches, drills, and saws.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, pumps, pipe, and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
