Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior field experience preferred.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and layout tools for safe, efficient work.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components of fabricated metal products for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding and threading joints.
• Position and secure materials during installation and follow plans and specs.
• Distinguish thickness and types of metal materials; handle rigging equipment safely.
• Operate beveling machines, grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, andSaw-Zall.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supports; hydro test piping systems.
