Job summary

The Systems Group is seeking a Pipefitter for the NYS Shutdown in Blytheville, AR. This role involves day and night shifts on an 8-day shutdown cycle and requires precise pipe installation, safety adherence, and teamwork to support nationwide operations.

You will handle pipe selection, cutting, threading, bending, mounting, and securing to structures while complying with safety rules and company policies. Benefits are offered alongside a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Pipefitting in industrial setting is preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• OSHA Met-Guard boots required (annual company allowance provided).

Responsibilities

• Selects the type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment according to job specifications.
• Inspects the worksite to determine obstructions.
• Plans sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and other workers' activities.
• Cuts pipe using a reciprocating saw, pipe cutter, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine, or other small hand tools.
• Thread pipe using a threading machine.
• Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines.
• Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold the pipe.
• Assembles and installs metal or nonmetal pipes and pipe fittings.
• Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools.
• Performs minor maintenance of cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
• Observe and complies with safety and project rules and company policies.
• Performs other duties as required.
