Qualifications

• Pipefitting in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• OSHA Met-Guard boots required; annual company allowance provided.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe and related materials per job specs.
• Inspects worksite for obstructions and plan installation sequence.
• Cuts pipe with saws and torches; uses pipe cutting tools.
• Threads and bends pipe with appropriate tools and machines.
• Mounts hangers and brackets to support pipe installations.
• Assembles and installs metal or nonmetal pipes and fittings.
• Secures pipes to structures with brackets and hangers.
• Performs routine maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Adheres to safety, project rules and company policies.
• Performs other duties as required.
