Job summary

Skilled Trades Services in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a skilled pipefitter to install, lay out, and assemble piping systems up to 5 inches in a commercial educational facility.

You will read prints, cut and thread pipe, install supports, and ensure proper slopes and clearances while maintaining safety standards on site. The role requires the ability to pass pre-employment screenings and a reliable commute.

• Ability to read prints/takeoffs and work safely with hand and power tools.
• Hands-on experience with copper pipe and weld pipe up to 5" in a commercial setting.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe (up to 5") per drawings and codes
• Install hangers/supports and verify slopes, elevations, and clearances
• Work with foreman to stage materials and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Pressure test, troubleshoot, and finalize systems for inspection/turnover

Schedule:Full-time, 48hrs/week (Monday-Friday)
Start:ASAP

Project:Join a commercial team building out an educational facility. You’ll handle installation, layout, and assembly of piping systems - including Copper Pipe & Weld Pipe up to 5" - to spec, safely and on schedule.

Requirements

• Clean backgroundand ability topass a pre-employment drug screening
• Reliable transportationand consistentMonday-Friday, 40-hour availability
• Hands-on experience with Well Pipe up to 5"(commercial environment)
• Ability to read prints/takeoffs and work safely with hand and power tools
• Strong safety mindset; follows OSHA and site-specific protocols

Pay Rate: $28-$30/hr DOE
