Job summary

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Pipefitters in Columbia, SC for commercial and industrial projects. The role offers a 4/10 schedule (Mon–Thu) with pay ranging from $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience, and a contract-to-hire path.

Responsibilities include installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality and safety on site. Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check to qualify.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial or industrial pipefitting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and piping drawings.
• Experience with various pipe, fittings, valves, and related components.
• Ability to use common pipefitting tools and equipment.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts Monday–Thursday.
