Job summary

Skilled Trades Services is seeking a qualified pipefitter for a Rock Hill, SC area commercial project to build out an educational facility. You will install, lay out, and assemble piping systems, including copper and weld pipe up to 5 inches, following drawings and codes.

This full-time role requires a clean background, drug screening, reliable transportation, and Monday–Friday 40-hour availability. A strong safety mindset and ability to read prints are essential.

Qualifications

• Commercial pipefitting experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Clean background and reliable transportation.
• Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly.
• Ability to read prints/takesoffs.
• OSHA and site protocols adherence.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe up to 5" per drawings and codes.
• Install hangers and verify slopes, elevations, and clearances.
• Stage materials with foreman; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Pressure test, troubleshoot, and finalize systems for inspection.
