Job summary

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Pipefitter III for full-time work on shipboard hydraulic, pneumatic and water systems. Reads blueprints, installs, repairs and tests piping components with minimal supervision.

You will follow safety regulations, coordinate with foreman, perform alignment and brazing, and support field service activities including on-site checks and system alterations. Requires 8 years' experience and apprenticeship plus marine piping knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School or GED with Apprenticeship Diploma and related technical training or military/civilian shipyard experience.
• 8 years of relevant experience in marine piping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Proficient in intermediate setup, alignment of portable tools, and use of hand tools.
• Knowledge of shipboard piping practices, brazing processes, and inspection basics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints to repair, modify, install and dismantle shipboard piping systems.
• Performs fabrication, assembly and testing of piping components and systems.
• Adheres to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Coordinates with Foreman and other trades during installations or repairs.
• Performs system alignment, basic troubleshooting and brazing as required.
• Maintains proper tool and material control and housekeeping.
• Assists with on-site field service and system checks.
