Job summary

TIC Inc in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related equipment per plans, codes, and standards. The role involves welding, threading, rigging, and hydro-testing of piping systems in various environments.

Experience in reading isometric drawings, precise measurements, and safe handling of hand and power tools is required. Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as workload dictates is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Must understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management/supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components of fabricated metal products for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding and threading joints.
• Position and secure materials and workpieces during installation; install items per plans/specs.
• Distinguish varying thickness and types of metal materials.
• Manually handle and rig equipment safely.
• Operate tools including beveling machines, grinders, hammers, torches, drills.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
