Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled pipefitter to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems to code and project specs. You will read isometric drawings, fabricate components, and assemble piping with welding, threading and bolting as required.

The role involves aligning equipment, rigging, and welding in both indoor and outdoor environments, with potential overtime and site access in various facilities. Safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Proficient with electrical, hand and power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans and specs.
• Read isometric drawings, take measurements and fabricate/install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding; assemble and secure pipes and fittings by welding and threading.
• Position and secure materials during installation and inspect work for compliance with plans.
• Hydro test piping systems and estimate quantities, time, and resources as needed.
