Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in the United States is seeking a skilled pipefitter to lay-out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment according to plans and standards.

You will read isometric drawings, fabricate and install piping, align and bolt components, and hydro test systems on an active construction site in Mississippi. Ability to work overtime and pass pre-employment drug testing required.

Qualifications

• Reading isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping per plans and specs.
• Must pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings and take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components of fabricated metal products to secure in position for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding and threading joints.
• Position and secure materials during installation per plans and specs.
• Distinguish varying thickness and types of metal materials.
• Operate tools and equipment including beveling machines, cut-off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, and Saw-Zall.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
