Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a skilled pipefitter to plan, lay out, and perform pipe fitting and fabrication tasks in accordance with project plans, specs, and codes. You will work under supervision when needed and mentor peers while maintaining safe, high‑quality workmanship.

Applicants should have several years of pipefitting experience in industrial/construction environments, strong math skills, and solid communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards and effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment.
• Minimum of 3–6+ years of pipefitter experience in industrial/construction settings depending on level.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Share knowledge and teach others on the job.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in trade mathematics.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans and take corrective action.
