Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in High Point, NC seeks skilled Pipefitters to join our manufacturing shop. The role includes installing industrial piping, reading blueprints, fabricating supports, and mentoring helpers.

Candidates should have high school education, pipefitter experience, rigging knowledge, and the ability to work safely in a loud environment. OT may be required; benefits include health and 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Rigging knowledge preferred.
• 5 years pipefitter experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and fabrication methods.
• Familiar with pipes, valves, fittings and their functions.
• General knowledge of code requirements and hazards.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.
• Read blueprints and submittals.
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines.
• Work independently and solve problems.
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.
• Instruct plumbing helpers under supervision.
• Practice all safety procedures.

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina.

Schedule

6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water
• Read blueprints and submittals
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines
• Work independently and problem solve
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping
• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision
• Practice all EAS safety procedures

Education Requirements/Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• Rigging knowledge preferred
• 5 years pipefitter experience preferred
• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods
• Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions
• General knowledge of code requirements and limitations
• Knowledge of occupational hazards, including ladders
