Job summary

Stulz is seeking a pipefitter/assembler in Denton, TX. You will read tape measures, interpret layouts, and install various metal and nonmetal pipes and fittings using benders and torches. Training across multiple manufacturing positions is available, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read English instructions. You will work with hand tools, PPE, and follow detailed drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8 inch.
• Ability to follow verbal, written, and pictorial instructions.
• Proficient with hand tools and PPE.
• Read and interpret layout drawings, BOMs and piping diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Read a tape measure to 1/8 inch.
• Follow verbal, written, and pictorial instructions.
• Use hand tools.
• Cut, thread and bend pipe with hydraulic and manual benders.
• Assemble and install metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes and fittings (iron, steel, copper, plastic).
• Operate acetylene and oxygen torch safely.
• Read and interpret layout drawings, BOMs, and piping diagrams.
• Wear and maintain PPE as required.
• Cross-train in multiple manufacturing positions (assembly, wire, weld).
• Other duties as assigned.
