Job summary

Consolidated Pipe & Supply is seeking a Steel Fabrication Shop Technician to join our Fort Worth-area team. You will check in inventory, pull pieces for jobs, run equipment such as saws, drills and bevelers, and pressure test finished products while keeping records for the quality department.

Candidates should read technical drawings, understand measurements, and have some shop experience; we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic. Drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• Fabrication or welding shop experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
• Good computer skills; training available for the right candidate.
• Able to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel items using techniques such as drilling, grinding, and sawing.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
