Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company seeks skilled tradespeople to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and associated equipment on construction sites. You will follow plans, use welding and threading to join components, and ensure secure installations under varying weather conditions.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to operate power tools and rigging equipment, and safety compliance on an industrial site. Prior experience with piping projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred with field experience.
• Ability to read and follow written/oral instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Reading isometric drawings, taking measurements, fabricating and installing piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components of fabricated metal products for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment by welding and threading joints.
• Position and secure materials and workpieces during installation per plans and specifications.
• Distinguish varying thickness and types of metal materials.
• Manually handle and apply rigging equipment safely.
• Operate beveling machines, cut-off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, and a Saw-Zall.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
