Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting, based in Pontiac, Michigan, is seeking skilled pipefitters with 4+ years in industrial pipefitting or commercial plumbing. You will measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install piping systems per specifications, while ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Industrial Pipefitting or Commercial Plumbing.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair, according to specifications.
• Basic knowledge of Plumbing & Mechanical Code.
• Material take-offs.
• Process piping system knowledge.
• Investigate and complete piping repairs
• Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend various sizes of pipe and tubing to required angle/length using pipe cutters and benders
• Thread and assemble steel pipe
• Prepare, fabricate, fit and install pipe to specifications
• Install valves, hangers, supports, and flanges in piping systems according to plans and applicable specifications
• Repair leaks in all types of pipe systems
• Assemble, install and repair piping systems according to specifications and appropriate trade and building codes
• Ensure attention to detail and follow safety standards
• Work with other departments as needed
