Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting, based in Pontiac, Michigan, seeks motivated apprentices to join a pipefitting program. The role supports foremen, learns piping installation, and advances through a broad apprenticeship with safety and quality in mind.

Eligible candidates participate in a DOL-endorsed pipefitting apprenticeship, gain hands-on experience with a wide range of tools, and receive comprehensive benefits including health, vision, dental, and a strong retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of pipefitting experience.
• Participate in employer-sponsored DOL Pipefitting Apprenticeship.
• Basic welding, brazing, and soldering experience.
• Plan pipe system layout and installation per specifications.
• Basic knowledge of Plumbing & Mechanical Code.

Responsibilities

• Support apprentices and foremen on projects.
• Follow instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
• Keep the job site clean and organized.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and prevent hazards.
• Fuel and wash department vehicles.
• Develop installation and service skills within the department.
• Install piping systems.
