Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking skilled pipefitters to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain piping and related hydraulic or pneumatic systems according to plans and codes. The role requires reading isometric drawings, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include fabricating, aligning, welding and testing piping systems, working with vessels, skids, and pumps, and performing hydro tests in various outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and layouts.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in pipe fabrication and installation.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding and threading joints.
• Position materials and workpieces during installation per plans and specs.
• Distinguish material thickness and type; handle and rig equipment safely.
• Operate beveling machines, grinders, torches, drills, and other tools.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
