Position Summary
Lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate, and install piping efficiently.
- Align, bolt, and clamp together components of fabricated metal products to secure in position for welding.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications by welding and threading joints.
- Position and secure materials and workpieces during installation; install all other items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications.
- Distinguish varying thickness and types of metal materials.
- Handle and securely apply rigging equipment manually.
- Operate tools and equipment including beveling machines, cut-off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, and Saw-Zall.
- Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supports.
- Hydro test piping systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in the field or related area preferred.
- Working knowledge of relevant skills and abilities.
- Effective communication skills, ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Must be able to move about a construction/industrial site constantly, including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Work irregular hours, including weekends, overtime, and holidays.
- Ability to climb ladders, mechanical platforms, manlifts, and scaffolds, and maintain balance on formwork, stairs, and scaffolds.
- Work in confined, cluttered, and uneven spaces; complete tasks in noisy and dusty environments.
- Move items weighing up to 50 pounds across the site.
- Possess required tools.
- Observe safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.
- Pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, medical, and background checks.
