Job summary

GreenWood in Augusta is looking for a Pipefitter to prepare, assemble, and repair pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures. The fitter should be able to field route structural steel pipe supports for equipment and piping systems. Strong mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities include assembling and repairing pipe systems, ensuring correct placement, managing tools, and upholding safety procedures during welding processes. Customer service and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of pipefitting experience.
• Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Apprenticeship or formal training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and repairs pipe systems.
• Ensures proper placement and alignment per blueprints, diagrams or instructions.
• Manages tools issued, inspects and maintains tool integrity.
• Maintains ethical and fair testing environments.
• Follows all safety procedures before, during and after welding.
