Job Responsibilities
  1. Select pipe types and sizes according to specifications.
  2. Inspect worksites for obstructions and structural safety.
  3. Plan installation sequences to avoid conflicts and coordinate with other workers.
  4. Assemble and install various metal and nonmetal pipes and fittings.
  5. Join piping using threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints.
  6. Secure pipes with clamps, brackets, and hangers.
  7. Install and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems, including compressors and controls.
  8. Test piping systems for leaks and ensure safety standards.
Requirements
  • Experience with pipefitting in Mechanical and HVAC industries.
  • Ability to work accurately within precise standards.
  • Knowledge of cutting, bending, and welding tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of system plans and the ability to interpret drawings.
  • At least 4 years of practical training in installation and tool usage.
