Job Opportunity: Commercial Pipefitter with Brazing Experience

Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in the commercial and government Design-Build sector, with a national presence and projects across the United States, including Virginia. We specialize in fast-track projects for public and private clients, primarily in the Department of Defense market.

We are hiring several commercial Pipefitters with brazing experience for ongoing work at Naval Station Norfolk. All work will be performed on the military base and is paid according to the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to Naval Station Norfolk.

Pay: $48.20 - $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assembly, installation, and planning of piping systems on active construction sites.
• Ensure work complies with relevant codes and safety practices.
• Apply technical pipefitting principles using appropriate equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 4+ years of field or trade work experience as a journeyman pipefitter in commercial, industrial, or facilities settings; government or military experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical pipe installation, deep underground work, start-up and energizing systems (boilers, chillers).
• Valid pipefitter license or journeyman card preferred.
• Current welding certification.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA-10 preferred (training available).
• Preference for candidates with brazing or HDPE experience.
