Carlson & Stewart Refrigeration, Inc. is seeking qualified, mechanically inclined pipefitters to join our design-build team in the Upper Midwest.

Qualifications

• Prior pipefitting experience required; on-the-job training available.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specs for refrigeration systems.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and travel as needed.
• Willingness to travel and work 45–50 hours per week, including occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pipefitters and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specs for refrigeration install.
• Perform field layouts using math and measurement.
• Install hangers, brackets, and stands per specs.
• Prep pipes for welding with power and hand tools.
• Operate fitting tools to ensure correct installation.
• Operate telehandlers, forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Work in industrial settings, including food processing plants.
• Maintain and organize tools and work areas.
• Identify faulty equipment or materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.
