Job description

This position is located in the Plumbing Shop within the Maintenance and Repair (M&R) Section of Facilities Management Service (FMS) at the Lyons Campus of the VA NJHCS. It involves the installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of high-temperature and high-pressure piping systems such as steam heating and steam-generating systems.

Preferred Experience: Journeyman Plumber/Pipefitter 5yrs experience or more.

Experience: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality demonstrating your ability to perform the duties of this position. Evidence should be detailed on your resume. Applicants will be rated according to the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.

Screen-Out Element: Your qualifications will be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, typically question 1 in the online questionnaire.
