Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $37.00/hr

Locations: Louisville, CO (corporate offices and fabrication shop), Breckenridge (mountain region)

Company size: Nearly 300 employees

Overview: The Journeyman Pipefitter ensures safety, quality, and profitability through installation, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical piping systems.

Responsibilities

1. Meet all requirements of a 4-year Apprentice
2. Knowledge of tools, equipment, and skills for commercial HVAC/piping installation
3. Supervise field crew activities according to schedules and priorities
4. Submit daily progress reports
5. Order materials in advance to ensure task completion
6. Maintain a safe and organized job site
7. Operate and maintain equipment safely
8. Accurately record labor hours and materials
9. Train and instruct apprentices/crew members emphasizing safety
10. Ensure compliance with codes and standards, and conduct inspections
11. Respond to customer needs professionally
12. Adhere to safety and company policies
13. Promote company values and culture
14. Ensure proper use of assets
15. Maintain regular attendance
16. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

1. 4-year apprenticeship certificate or 4 years of field experience
2. Thorough knowledge of construction pipefitting and safety procedures
3. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
4. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses/certifications
5. Journeyman tools
6. Reliable transportation
