Description

Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Pipefitter to join our team under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. This role is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems used in industrial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of pipe materials and fittings and the ability to work within precise tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipe using hand and power tools.
• Secure pipes to structures using brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Assemble and install metal and non-metal pipes, fittings, and components.
• Perform layout and installation of piping systems according to blueprints and P&IDs.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems, including pressure leaks.
• Work with welding teams to complete pipe installation and repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Willing to assist with additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a pipefitter, preferably in an industrial or chemical plant setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and P&IDs.
• Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurement and layout.
• Ability to work independently and follow established guidelines.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
