Position Summary: The role involves cutting, threading, and hammering pipes to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders. Responsibilities include assembling and securing pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment through welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints. The position also requires attaching pipes to walls or structures, inspecting and testing installed systems, and evaluating and designing assembly processes for Turboexpander Machines.

What Will You Do?

• Evaluate P & ID drawings and design pipelines and tubing lines for machines.
• Determine materials needed for assembly.
• Cut and assemble piping with valves and tube fittings.
• Bend and fabricate tubing lines for instruments and lubrication consoles.
• Install instruments such as differential gauges, switches, and transmitters.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

This role involves working in a manufacturing environment with conditions that include noise, oils, hazards from moving parts, vehicles, heat, and chemicals. The employee must talk, hear, stand, and walk regularly, with occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and ladder climbing. Vision requirements include close, distance, and focus adjustment capabilities.

Your Experience Should Be...

• At least 5 years of experience in Pipe Fitting within manufacturing.
• Ability to read P & ID drawings.
• Understanding of basic welding techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge in plumbing.
• Experience in refinery, high-pressure oil, and gas piping is a plus.
