Position Summary: The role involves cutting, threading, and hammering pipes to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders. Responsibilities include assembling and securing pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment through welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints. The position also requires attaching pipes to walls or structures, inspecting and testing installed systems, and evaluating and designing assembly processes for Turboexpander Machines.
This role involves working in a manufacturing environment with conditions that include noise, oils, hazards from moving parts, vehicles, heat, and chemicals. The employee must talk, hear, stand, and walk regularly, with occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and ladder climbing. Vision requirements include close, distance, and focus adjustment capabilities.
