Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Pipefitters for a 10-day plant shutdown project. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing piping and machinery, working 10-hour shifts every day from June 23 to July 3. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Shift: 10-hour Day shifts, June 23 – July 3 Compensation: $32 per hour, $120 per diem

Pay Range

$32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and assemble piping systems and machinery according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Inspect and test installed systems to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project completion.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role.
• Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various positions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program is preferred.

Requirements:

• Experience with industrial or plant shutdown projects.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in pipefitting.
• Proficient in ISO Metric Drawings
• Recent OSHA 10 Card Required
