Pipe Welder - Tig & Mig Required

Position Overview:

We are currently hiring for our 2nd shift Pipe Welders! Come join a great team. Apply now!

Responsibilities:

• Complete welding and assembly of complex standard products.
• Train on 1st shift (6a-2p) and transition to 2nd shift (2p-10p) in approximately 6 months after training.
• Starting rate is $30.99/hour plus an additional $1.50/hour shift premium upon moving to 2nd shift.

How You Will Do It:

• Perform structural carbon, galvanized, and stainless-steel welding.
• Perform plasma and oxygen cutting.
• Weld, layout, cut, and fit parts to meet drawing tolerances.
• Regulate current, voltage, and select proper tips, rods, and sizes for various welding tasks.
• Manipulate electrodes to lay smooth, even beads, avoiding undercutting.
• Use hand or power tools to clean equipment after welding.
• Assemble complex standard products, involving tubing layout, bending, or sawing pipe as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in TIG welding is essential.
• Experience in pipe welding is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited welding training program is preferred.
