Pipe Welder - Tig & Mig Required

We are currently hiring for our 2nd shift Pipe Welders! Come join a great team! Apply now!

What you will do:

• Complete welding and assembly of complex standard products.
• Will train on 1st shift (6a-2p) and move to 2nd shift (2p-10p) in approximately 6 months after training is completed.
• Starting rate is $30.99/hour plus an additional $1.50/hour shift premium when moved to 2nd shift.

How you will do it:

• Perform structural carbon, galvanized, and stainless-steel welding.
• Perform plasma and oxygen cutting.
• Able to weld, layout, cut, and fit parts to meet drawing tolerances.
• Regulate current, voltage, and select proper tips, rods, and sizes for various types of welding according to individual job requirements.
• Manipulate electrode in proper sequence and use care to lay a smooth and even bead of the required width, avoiding undercutting of metal.
• Use hand or power tools to clean equipment after welding.
• Complete assembly of complex standard products involving tubing layout, application to packaging, bending, or sawing pipe as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• TIG welding experience is a must.
• Pipe welding experience is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited welding training program is preferred.
