What You Will Do

1. Complete welding and assembly of complex standard products.
2. Train on 1st shift (6a-2p) and move to 2nd shift (2p-10p) in approximately 6 months after training.
3. Starting rate is $30.99/hour plus an additional $1.50/hour shift premium when moved to 2nd shift.

How You Will Do It

1. Perform structural carbon, galvanized, and stainless-steel welding.
2. Perform plasma and oxygen cutting.
3. Weld, layout, cut, and fit parts to meet drawing tolerances.
4. Regulate current, voltage, and select proper tips, rods, and sizes for various types of welding according to job requirements.
5. Manipulate electrode in proper sequence and lay smooth, even beads, avoiding undercutting.
6. Use hand or power tools to clean equipment after welding.
7. Complete assembly of complex standard products involving tubing layout, bending, or sawing pipe as needed.

Required Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. TIG Welding experience.
3. Pipe Welding experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited welding training program is preferred.
