The role involves high-precision pipe welding on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel using GTAW/TIG, SMAW and FCAW, with drawings and welding procedures guiding work in a 24/7 shipyard setting. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pipe welding experience.
• Experience with GTAW/TIG welding on shipyard projects.
• Ability to weld Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel to exact specifications.
• Knowledge of SMAW and FCAW processes.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Ingalls Shipbuilding, part of HII’s Ingalls division, is the largest manufacturing employer in Mississippi, designing and building amphibious ships, destroyers and cutters for the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. What You’ll Do
