NANA Construction in Alaska is seeking a Pipe Welder to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems for steam and process facilities at the Red Dog Mine. You will join edges, inspect bead quality, and follow job specifications while adhering to safety standards.
The role requires a minimum of five years as a certified pipe welder, GTAW/GMAW/FCAW/SMAW experience, and the ability to pass a pre-employment welding test. A valid driver's license is preferred and travel may be involved.
Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems by performing the following duties.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. Steel toed boots required on the job.
