Job summary

MB HAYNES Corporation in Asheville NC seeks a skilled pipe welder to join our industrial maintenance team. You will weld parts using gas welding equipment, following welding diagrams or work orders, and position components in jigs or fixtures as required.

The role requires 5+ years of welding experience, the ability to pass company tests and background checks, and a valid driver's license. Must lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in varied indoor/outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of experience preferred.
• Must pass employer tests to meet governmental/certification standards.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal parts using gas welding equipment per diagrams or work orders.
• Position parts in jigs or fixtures and clamp as needed; assemble joints.
• Maintain safety protocols and use PPE; inspect welds for bead size and specs.
