Job summary

MIELKE Mechanical Holdings, Inc. is seeking a full-time Pipe Welder for our Medina, OH team. The role requires proficiency in pipe welding and testing, with experience in carbon steel, stainless, and alloys.

Candidates should be able to read drawings, fit components, and operate cutting tools. We offer strong benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule in an on-site setting. As a Pipe Welder, you’ll be tested on SMAW and TIG procedures, and ASME experience is a big plus.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Pipe Stick test (2" SCH 160 SMAW 6G 6010/7018).
• Must be proficient in TIG stainless steel pipe weld test.
• Experience welding carbon steel, stainless and alloys.

Responsibilities

• Weld pipe assemblies per drawings and specifications.
• Fit components into weldments using blueprints and drawings.
• Read and interpret drawings; follow detailed work instructions.
• Operate oxy/acetylene cutting and hand/plasma cutting equipment.

Medina, OH

MIELKE Mechanical Holdings, Inc. is currently searching for a full-time Pipe Welder to join their team in Medina, Ohio!

• Pay: $26 - $36/hour, offer dependent on experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday


• Full time


• 8-hour shift

Our Pipe Welder will:

• Must be proficient in and able to pass a Pipe Stick test (2\" SCH 160 SMAW 6G 6010/7018)


• Must be proficient in and able to pass a TIG SS pipe weld test


• Experience welding carbon steel, stainless and alloys


• Must be able to fit components into a weldment using drawings.


• Must be proficient at blueprint reading.


• Must be able to follow detailed work instructions, verbal or written to execute job functions.


• Minimum experience how to operate and be proficient with the following equipment: oxy/acy cutting, hand plasma cutting


• Minimum experience or knowledge in Rigid pipe threading and Victaulic a plus.


• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.


• Must be able to pass a welding test


• ASME experience and certification is a huge plus!
