Job summary

L&L Fabrication, Inc. seeks a Welder III (Pipe Welder) to operate in one of our Welding facilities in the Rocky Mountain region. The role demands handling complex joints, performing NDT as needed, and contributing to process improvements while supporting shop needs and training teammates.

The Welder III role requires 6G certification prior to hire and proficiency in GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW per WPS. Safety, quality, and on-time delivery are emphasized in this position.

Qualifications

• Code welding experience listed (ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1)
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and blueprints
• Willingness to train teammates and improve processes
• Knowledge of safety practices and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Weld Non-Code and Code articles to satisfactory quality
• Perform GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS
• Lead the process of introducing new procedures (PQRs/WPSs)
• Drive safe forklift operation
• Mentor team members and contribute to process improvements
• Maintain organized work area and equipment
