Job summary

L&L Fabrication, Inc. is seeking a Welder III (Pipe Welder) for our Colorado operations. This full-time role supports scheduled shop needs and tackles complex joints requiring NDT, while also training teammates and improving processes for the team’s advancement.

compensation ranges from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, with duties spanning fitting parts, operating multiple welding processes, and leading implementation of new procedures to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Code welding experience per ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, D17.1
• Mechanical aptitude for manufacturing processes
• Willingness to train others and improve processes

Responsibilities

• Weld Non-Code and Code articles to satisfactory quality
• GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS
• Lead process improvements (PQRs/WPSs)
• Perform material processing with accuracy and efficiency
• Operate oxy-fuel, plasma, saw, mag-drill, grinder
• Safely use shop and personal tooling
• Drive a forklift safely
• Mentor teammates to enhance welding/fabrication skills
• Ensure 100% NDT joint quality targets
• Prepare, assemble, tack weld parts
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Notify supervisor of faults or defects
• Other related duties as assigned
