Job summary

L&L Fabrication is seeking a Pipe Welder III for its Nebraska facility. This full-time role focuses on complex joints requiring NDT, with expectations of passing at a 100% rate. Welding, fitting parts, training teammates, and process improvements are key parts of the job.

Wage range is $30.00–$40.00/hr. Candidates must meet 3G/6G tests and work within a safety-first environment focused on quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Code Welding Experience (ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ownership and accountability mindset
• Willingness to learn and teach new processes
• Reading and interpreting designs and blueprints
• Math skills relevant to welding tasks

Responsibilities

• Weld Non-Code and Code articles to satisfactory quality
• Perform GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS
• Weld to 6G and related certifications as required
• Lead process improvements and introduce new procedures (PQRs/WPSs)
• Plan work orders and assemble required tools/materials
• Operate oxy-fuel, plasma, saws, mag-drill, grinders and forklifts safely
• Mentor teammates and participate in team development
• Maintain clean, organized work area and report equipment faults
