Job summary

RK Industries is seeking skilled Fabricator/Welders to build and assemble piping systems for major commercial and industrial projects in Denver, CO. Position levels 1–3 based on experience, with responsibilities spanning pipe welding, fabrication, fit-up, and sometimes pipe fitting of complex assemblies.

You will read fabrication drawings and weld maps, interpret isometrics, and work with GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes while maintaining safety and quality standards in a busy shop

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Industrial pipe fabrication or welding experience.
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or alloy piping.
• Ability to read and follow fabrication drawings and welding documentation.
• Knowledge of welding processes, WPS requirements, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate pipe spools and piping assemblies according to drawings, specifications, and WPS requirements.
• Perform pipe welding using GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes.
• Fit, tack, align, and assemble piping components including pipe, flanges, elbows, tees, reducers, valves, and other fittings.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, spool sheets, isometrics, weld maps, and weld symbols.
• Use grinders, saws, cutting equipment, welding machines, positioners, and standard shop tools.
• Verify material, joint preparation, dimensions, alignment, and weld quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following RK’s quality and safety standards.
