Job summary

RK Industries is hiring Fabricator/Welder professionals in Denver, CO. Levels 1–3 involve pipe welding, fabrication, fit-up, and progressing to more complex assemblies as you gain experience. Compensation is $38‑$50 per hour with weekly pay and benefits.

Welders will read drawings, follow WPS, and work with GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced shop environment. Advancement opportunities exist for skilled, reliable producers across major projects.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Industrial pipe fabrication or welding experience required.
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or alloy piping.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding documentation.
• Knowledge of welding processes, WPS requirements, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate pipe spools and piping assemblies per drawings and WPS.
• Perform pipe welding using GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW.
• Fit, tack, align, and assemble piping components including fittings.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, spool sheets, isometrics, weld maps, and symbols.
• Use grinders, saws, cutting equipment, welding machines, and shop tools.
• Verify material, joint prep, dimensions, alignment, and weld quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area per RK safety standards.

Education

High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Industrial pipe fabrication or welding experience

Carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or alloy piping

Tools

Welding certifications: 1G/3G/6G

Reading fabrication drawings & isometrics
