RK Industries, LLC is hiring Shop Fitters to translate drawings into precision piping spools in a fast-paced shop environment. You will read production drawings and job orders, measure materials, operate shop tools, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while recording progress and ensuring product compliance.

Entry level to advanced roles (Shop Fitter 1-3) offer growth with increasing supervision and responsibility; high school diploma or GED preferred, trade skills valued, and benefits provided

Qualifications

• Read production drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and job orders to lay out and fabricate piping spools.
• Measure materials, operate shop tools and equipment, and handle materials safely.
• Inspect work, document product compliance, and flag defects or drawing questions to foreman.
• Work with fabrication team to meet production goals and keep orders moving.
• Maintain a clean work area, care for shop equipment, and record time and production progress.
