Job summary

Sundt Inc. is seeking an experienced pipe welder/fabricator to plan, lay out, and perform pipe welding and fabrication per plans, specs, and codes.

You will work with other crafts as needed, take direction from a lead, and ensure safe, high-quality results on a dynamic construction site. Minimum experience levels range from 3+ to 6+ years in industrial/construction pipefitting, with the ability to read drawings and P&ID’s, and pass required weld tests.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years (level I) up to 6+ years (level Sr.) experience in industrial/construction pipefitting.
• Able to read drawings, isometrics, P&ID’s, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Must pass required weld test(s) for the work being performed.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high quality work safely and productively.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, equipment, and information are available.
• Look for opportunities for improvement and be willing to learn from others.
• Continually share knowledge and teach others.
• Inspect subordinate work and ensure compliance with plans and specs; correct as needed.
