Job summary

Sundt Inc. is seeking an experienced pipe welder to plan, lay out, and perform all pipe welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with plans, specs, codes, and industry standards.

You will work under supervision and be able to take direction from more experienced workers or foremen. The role emphasizes safe, high-quality production, readiness to learn across trades, and strong math skills for trade calculations.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in pipefitting within industrial/construction.
• Ability to read drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, specifications and safety standards.
• Must pass required weld tests for the work performed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high quality work, safely and productively.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, equipment, and information are available.
• Seek improvement opportunities in methods and be willing to learn from others.
• Share knowledge and teach others.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, and material handling.
