Job summary

Structured Trades in Austin, TX is seeking experienced TIG and stick welders for commercial construction projects. You will perform TIG root passes and stick fills on carbon and stainless pipe, read blueprints, and ensure welds meet project standards.

Candidates must have 3+ years of combo welding in a commercial setting and be able to weld pipe in multiple positions, with 6G preferred. Own tools are required, and you will work on-site with safety as a priority.

We are seeking experienced TIG Combo Welders for new commercial construction projects in the Austin, Texas area. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both TIG (GTAW) and stick (SMAW) welding processes with the ability to perform high-quality welds on piping components in various positions.

• Perform TIG root passes and stick fill/cap passes on carbon and stainless pipe.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and project specifications.
• Prepare fit and weld materials including carbon steel and stainless steel.
