Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists in Catoosa, OK is seeking a skilled 6G Welder for the Port of Catoosa. Day shift, 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with starting pay of $28+ per hour.

Responsibilities include planning welding procedures, inspecting products for QA, and safely operating advanced welding equipment. Candidates must have 2+ years pipe welding experience and be able to pass 3G MIG/Fluxcore and 6G TIG root tests, plus AWS/ANSI certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pipe welding experience
• Must pass 3G MIG/Fluxcore weld test and a 6G TIG root Flux fill in cap on 2 inch schedule 160
• AWS/ANSI welding certification required
• Basic math skills
• Must understand volts and amps and adjust accordingly
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Plans details of working procedure.
• Inspects finished product for QA conformance.
• Safely operate all advanced welding equipment.
• Set up, troubleshoot and adjust welding machines to maintain production and quality.
• Participates in improvement planning – modify weld procedures to increase safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Other duties as assigned.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A 3G MIG/FLUXCORE TEST and a 6G TIG ROOT FLUX FILL IN CAP ON 2 INCH SCHEDULE 160

Responsibilities

• Plans details of working procedure.
• Inspects finished product for completeness and conformance to all quality assurance procedures.
• Safely operate all advanced level welding equipment.
• Set up, troubleshoot and make advanced adjustments welding machines as needed to maintain good
• production and quality.
• Participates in improvement planning – modification of weld procedures to increase safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
